She then stated I can come over to the other side and look at her screen which showed no rooms were ready.
I was told and I quote from the nastiest employee I have ever encountered “Well, I have not eaten since 10pm last night”. I held a crying three year old and literally begged for any room to be ready so I can comfort and feed my child. Fast forward to 4:30pm- after having checked in every 30 minutes like they kept telling us.
We were told to come back after 30min to check if our rooms were ready. We heard people discussing among each other that they were being given room keys that were inactive, only to have to return back to the long line after they discovered their key was not working. This past Wednesday the 20th, we arrived at 2pm to check into our two rooms (one comped and one bedroom suite that we paid over $700 a night for) We followed all pre-check in pre-check in procedures through an email that morning and the only thing that was left was to pick up our room key As we approached the front desk, we did notice a longer than usual line. We have stayed at Ocean over 50 times since it has opened and have never had any major issues.
